The taxis in Hong Kong are plentiful and relatively inexpensive. The tariff is 11,5HK$ for landing and the first two kilometers and HK$1 for every 200 meters. Buses operate from 6.00 to 24.00. There are two types of buses: standard and London double-decker buses. The fare is HK$1.

 

Official currency

The official currency of Hong Kong is the Hong Kong dollar. A HK$ equal to 100cents. Currency exchange  is possible in banks. However, in the evenings and nights, when the banks are closed, You can find exchange points in the heart of Hong Kong, which has not the most favorable exchange rate.
